About Biowood
About us
The factory of disposable ecofriendly cutlery Biowood is located in the town of Slobodskoy, Kirov region. This is one of the most favorable regions of Russia for logging and deep processing of wood due to its favorable geographical location, availability of raw materials and transport highways.
Factory
The region has a developed transport infrastructure, which is integrated into the transport system of the Russian Federation.
The Vyatka federal highway and the Trans-Siberian Railway pass through the region, connecting the west and east of Russia from the Pacific coast to the Baltic Sea.
We ship products not only in Russia, but also around the world by various means of transport: trucks, railway wagons, sea containers
Logistics availability
In terms of harvesting and woodworking, the region occupies leading positions in the European part of Russia. The total stock of wood in forest plantations is about 1,100 million cubic meters, including more than 500 million cubic meters of softwood species.
The climatic features of the region provide high quality, excellent mechanical properties and attractive appearance of birch wood.
Forest Fund
We not only use the forest, but also take care of the renewability of forest plantations. The volume of reforestation work carried out in the Kirov region ensures the timely restoration of forests on cut areas and the reduction of uncovered lands of the forest fund.
Activities for the reproduction of forests are carried out at 100%, which allows us to save the total area of forest plantations
